Combatting A.D.D. in politics

For the average person, politics are most likely quite boring. With the exception of the odd laughable splutter of Malema, there’s really not much to get excited about.

In fact, it seems the politicians (and even their wives :-P ) have a hard time staying awake – JZ’s wives could not even make it through his inauguration

… and apparently it’s such an accepted practise to sleep in parliament, a while back the only question was whether it should be broadcast to the public or not ( “Don’t look, you’re MP’s sleeping” ).

I think Italy’s parliamentarians on the other hand does not have the same problem when former topless model and Italian equalities minister Mara Carfagna gets up for a chin wag.

A better solution I think. If a politician has to be useless, they might as well be aesthetically pleasing. Both would be better, of course.
