I’ve been asked “what’s happening with the blog” enough times to be making my first guilt-post.
Here goes….
I’ll start of with a pic of my fairly recent roped-solo ascent of the Tuks climbing wall. It was a fairly big deal for myself, even though the average climber would hike up that route. The trick came when I tried feeding myself rope through the gri-gri (belay device) when actually on the wall. I practised it a couple of times on the ground with virtually no problems, but as always things change when you’re up there.

The very impressive pic with rope barely visible. Funky arrow indicates top.
So this post serves multiple purposes:
1: I’ve made an update – whoohooo
2: I’ve got proof that I’ve been outside since digital camera’s was invented. I may even own my own camera.
(And don’t mention the fact that there’s no-one on the pic….)
;-P
