Wife carrying

I stumbled across an article on IOL about a “wife carrying contest”. I was of course immediately intrigued, being an unmarried lad and any uses for a wife that may be advantageous should be investigated and aforementioned status be changed should the positives outweigh the negatives.

Imagine my surprise when my investigation revealed this “sport” where the husbands actually race each other through an obstacle course while carrying their wives on their backs? Never.

 I though it was something along the lines of this:

Think I’ll remain status quo for the time being ;-P
